Aneta Zawila-Jordan is a Dynamic and Creative Marketing Executive with entrepreneurial approach to product and market innovation, brand management and consumer insights across mature consumer-centric markets. Aneta cultivates strategic partnerships, instills trust among senior leaders, and places winning hearts and minds as the predecessor to profits and growth. Aneta demonstrates extensive expertise in brand building and management. At GrandBrands, she was able to meet company’s need to re-invigorate the 65+ year old establishment of Grand Furniture Stores by defining and directing the re-launch of the brand. In pioneering the role and responsibilities of Senior Marketing Manager for six store retailer, she planned, budgeted and managed the workflow of projects ensuring quality and compliance with brand standards. She championed brand recognition for nationally recognized furniture manufacturer and retailer - Ashley Furniture HomeStore when the company opened its first franchise in Southeastern Virginia. It was subsequently awarded ”Store of the Year” honor at the Las Vegas Furniture Market in 2013, topping the list of 460 Ashley Home Stores nationwide. Aneta’s brand building expertise was further engaged by launching GFO brand (Grand Furniture Outlet) for which she developed and executed marketing strategy supported by multi-channel advertising (traditional and digital). All the above resulted in activation of GrandBrands Furniture brand that she was influential in establishing. It encompasses all three sibling brands that she successfully manages: Grand Furniture, GFO and Ashley Furniture Home Store SEVA.

Aneta holds Masters Degrees in Administrative Law and Public Policy from her Polish Alma Mater, Jagiellonian University, Krakow and International Relations from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA. Currently, Aneta is seeking her Masters Degree In Management from Harvard Extension School, MA.




Passion for understanding customer behavior perfectly complements Aneta’s marketing career goals. At GrandBrands, I developed and managed internal customer surveying campaign to observe customer buying trends and financing behaviors and overall satisfaction with the brand. Aneta formed a strategic partnership with Podium, a customer feedback, interaction and online review management program, increasing local Ashley HomeStore  customer engagement and satisfaction ratings from 2.5 to 4.5 on five-star rating. Currently, Aneta serves on Podium Customer Advisory Board.


As a passionate advocate of all-things branding, Aneta has a knack for creative development. She developed this skill in her professional role in Brand Management from Busch Gardens Williamsburg, VA, Water Country USA, Kingsmill Resort and Spa and implemented and build upon it at GrandBrands, multi-brand furniture retail group. Creativity transcends to her management skills, even with the challenges of adversity or overwhelming odds in order to build and ensure corporate success.


After arriving to the United States, Aneta quickly understood that in order to establish herself in the country and realize her professional goals, she needed to validate the education and experience she had obtained in her native country, by supplementing her qualifications with a degree earned from the American institution. She graduated in 2010 with Masters Degree in International Studies form ODU and is currently seeking Masters Degree in management at Harvard. As an avid communication champion, Aneta has been mastering skills with Chrystal City Evening Toastmaster organization. Aneta speaks English, Polish and Russian.
